Events Information

A special Operations Research seminar will be held on February 4, 2010 at Kozo Keikaku Engineering Inc. in Tokyo, where we will give a talk on the SaaS service WebSTARS for vehicle routing and scheduling. A seminar information is given at OR Seminars.

Our showcase booth for Web products and services was a big success at recent trade shows in Japan, including SCM Fair 2009. We thank all the visitors to our booth and attendees to our presentations very much, and appreciate their views, comments and interest in our products and services.

Product Announcements

SaaS (Software as a Service) for vehicle routing & scheduling, WebSTARS, started recently. WebSTARS has the same functions and features as our long-run client-server software STARS, a comprehensive vehicle routing and scheduling system. WebSTARS added more web-based functions and features, such as displaying routes on Web-based maps and uploading & downloading Excel files. Since it is accessible over internet, there are no software installation pains or system maintenance headaches. Setting up is simple and quick. For more details, goto the WebSTARS.

A new version of DEA-Solver-Pro 7.0 was released in last October with a new feature called Dynamic DEA. This function is particularly suited for such appilcations as multi-period planning and long-term strategic evaluation of DMUs. A new version 7.0d became available on January 4 for those who purchased version 7.0 recently. Go to the DEA page for more details.

The last version 6.0 of DEA-Solver-Pro 6.0 k was released to correct the installation problems on Windows Vista. Note that if you have a working version 6.0 f or later, you do not have to obtain this version. Versions recently released include network DEA functions. Also network and floating licenses of DEA-Solver-Pro are available now.

A new version STARS 5.2 was release in September 2009, including such new features as bundling orders for the same sites and potential insert positions for unschedules orders. A new version SFLO 4.2 was released at the same time, with such features as inporting new facilities calculated by gird optimization and mode setting by lanes.
